After 25 years in cramped quarters on Madison Avenue, the French silver company Christofle has a new home several blocks north. Its 1,400-square-foot boutique is “a series of contradictions — intimate and open, soft and hard, light and dark,” said its designer, Stéphane Parmentier, who worked for Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld and Givenchy before founding his own firm in Paris more than a decade ago.
